Looks pretty darn nice to me. I`ve always been impressed with the Squier Standard Strats but always wondered about the Agathis they use for the bodies. I will be getting one for sure now!!!

btw...i understand this is only one example but still....

No, mine is a Ibanez. I assume not all Squiers look that nice btw.

EDIT: You could always ask dominus. He'd know.

How did you see the wood,did you refinish it?

My aggy Warlock looked like **** when I sanded it down. Very ugly butter-colored wood with undesirable grain.

That doesn't look too bad though.

How did you see the wood,did you refinish it?

I took part of the back off it to open up the sound (which it did). It has really uneven grain, goes from dark to light, looks like stripes on the guitar and has wierd lime green streaks through it which I've heard is common with agathis.

Yeah, the particular body looks good. If you get a squier std and take the finish off post pics, maybe squier is using a different grade...

Like any wood though, there can be good and bad pieces...
