What if (maybe someone already said this but) seymour duncan covered the double cream with something that after you order it could just be taken off and under it be a double cream bucker? I think that it would just go under "their" radars! MUHAHAHAHAHAHa!!!!

That's why a lot of players order Duncan humbuckers as "Custom Shop Floor Specials" or something like that. As long as the cover is on, they can be whatever underneath. There have been a lot of players here who have ordered them that way.

Everyone, I too have a opposing view to the double cream patent, but everyone remember the forum rule against speaking negative about other companies.. I'd hate to see this thread get shut down or anyone get in trouble.
My guess it that BC is pumping them out and havent rec'd the Cease paper work yet. Just like the companies that have produced LP shaped guitars. (Agile etc)They cant take back all they sold, but they get notified and have to change future production..
