what the "theory" is behind what i recorded was?

its only 2 tracks. a "ryhthm" track and a "lead" track.

is that an easy thing to do for people who know "theory"? you can hear something, and then over-lay an "explanation", so to speak?

Yeah I could probably figure it out if its not ridiculously fast to the point that I wouldn't be able to play it. Throw it up...see if people can get it.

EDIT: I'm not even a music major, but I do know a decent amount of theory...there are some guys on here that could do it better than I

its actually quite slow
and its tuned to A-440, no drop-D or anything

but you promise you wont laugh or make fun of what i'm posting, will you?

man, I'm not gonna laugh at it. I'm fairly self conscious about my music as well and I wouldn't tear someone down about their creation.

i also have a lot of floyd-rose-whammies, and Vox-Wah stompies...

i think if you just pointed out those last 3 particulars, then you'd probably have it nailed

the last 30 - 45 seconds aren't that good at all
while i was over-laying the "lead" track, i had to make some kind of audible marker on the "rhythm" track that would alert me to the end of the "rhythm" track, and hence... that gobbledee-gook at the last 30-45 seconds.
... or the whole crap sounds like $#!+
i don't care
and frankly, it does all sound like $#!+
so fudge me, and fudge me again.

Calm the hell down... Post the thing and let what happens, happens. Besides even if someone knocks it, you've got a frame of reference to improve and how can you improve if you shelter from any outside influence?
