There are a ton of guitars I'd love to own, but if I had to narrow it down to just one, I'd have to take ****ey (short for Richard, since it's gonna be bleeped out) Betts redtop '57 LP. (the one he stripped the gold paint off and repainted) I dunno what it is about it, but I just think it looks amazing. And obviously, the sound quality would be there.

Boy, that's a tough choice. I'd be happy with any of the following: 1) Sparkle coat Tele that belonged to Don Rich (he was with Buck Owens), 2) Jimmy Page's Standard LP, 3) any one of the assorted Lucilles that BB King owns, 4) The tobacco sunburst Standard LP that Ronnie Montrose used for years (I think it was stolen), so he could have it back, 5) the LP Custom that John Sykes used for Whitesnake and Blue Murder albums.

To tell you the truth, I really just like my own guitar, but that's probably because I've customized the **** out of it with the treble bleeds and push-pulls, and phase switch...thinkin' about scalloping next...

Well I think I would like to have Eric Claptons phycadelic 61 SG. Not for any other reason than it is probably one of the most recognized guitars in Rock history. Then I would donate it to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. An instrument like that deserves to be viewed by all, not horded by one. I believe that Todd Rundren owns it now, and when he got it it was in need of some repair.

well one of the best guitar i've ever heard and want is kaki king's custom adamas with the long neck and bowl shaped back thats bigger than any of the ovations. but i would be just as happy with jimmi hendix's strat in his woodstock performance.

I'd go for either Jeff Beck's tele-gib or Esquire.

Aside from that, Ed's 5150 kramer. The original frankenstein may be the cooler piece to have, but the kramer 5150 was the guitar I first saw him using.

id also be content with bb kings first ever lucille or pages les paul or santana's prs. maybe even lennons strat that he stripped and painted...
