Really? Think of how we're having this conversation.

I think he means guitars, not technology in general. Besides, time is asymmetrical; every cool guitar we've ever seen or heard about was conceived and built in the past. The future is at a disadvantage here by having no known new guitars to entice us, and the great instruments we already know and love might not even be around anymore. Go… I don't know… fifty-four years into the future. What does 2068 have to offer any of us, specifically? Besides the First Act Diamond Anniversary Adam Levine Signature Model?
