If you HAD to choose

Re: If you HAD to choose

pearly gates bridge. with volume and tone controls it can do everything i need. it can be bright, fat, cutting or warm depending on how you use it. its not my favorite pup for everything but i could use it for everything and not feel lacking

Re: If you HAD to choose

F#^K it...it's just a game.

Ok...you curse me? You're going to regret it witch lady.

I call upon THE BLACK WINTER.

Re: If you HAD to choose

Yeah but its just a hypothetical its like the desert island questions.

True. I've never understood how they get electricity on deserted islands to play guitar. Or with tens of thousands of PU's in stores and homes across the nation, why you can only have one. It's almost as if they had too much time on their hands, but yet not quite enough time to think the question all the way thru...

Re: If you HAD to choose

i would go with a 59B. i find them to be kinda bland for anything specifically but decent for enough for everything. there are better PAF styled pickups, there are better high gain pickups, there are better mid gain pickups, but the 59 will work for almost anything in a pinch.

You are so much fun

It's a silly hypothetical question. Play along or don't. Your buy-in to the concept is not requisite for it to continue.

The whole thing is arranged by eccentric tycoon Seymour Duncan. Not content with controlling the after market pickup racket, he does things like to his devotees for his own twisted amusement.
