If you had to limit your rig to 3 pedals - what would you choose?

If you had to minimize your rig to 3 effect pedals what would they be?
You can talk only about types, if it's a distortion or a drive I guess that brand does matter.
If you don't need any or need less then tell us about it too...
If your answer is "I only need my multi effect" then please specify 3 patches...

My choices are:
Vox wah (or any other pedal sounding like a Vox, not a Cry Baby...)
Delay - I use a simple Ibanez Tone Lok box... could upgrade it but I don't need something too complicated.
Phaser (still havn't found what I'm looking for - but I've always been into phaser/vibe sounds).

I only have a wah and a noise gate... I'm getting my overdrive back soon enough but I probably won't use it.

I have an EQ in the loop, does that count? If so disregard the OD.

Never considered a tuner to be an effect pedal, guess I should have wrote it in the thread title...
However, overdrive+delay is a cool basic combination...

I don't count tuners since they are pretty much a necessity anyway. Right now all I run is an overdrive but if I were to add two more, it would be a phaser and a wah. I have both of those items, I just don't use them in my band rig.

My amp has built-in reverb, delay and all that but I use the reverb only. If I end up using an amp that doesn't have built-in reverb, then yank the wah and put in a delay or reverb.

Wizard Wah at the front and a DD3 and MXR Micro amp (for lead boost) in the loop. Drive and Verb come from Hellcat Head.

Visual Sound H20 (chorus and delay in one pedal, cheating lol ?) Vox wah, big muff USA.

Could be totally different if you ask me next week though as pedals and tones I'll be digging at the time always change.

Speaking of cheating, does those Line6 units count ? DL4, MM4 and whatever the purple filter unit is would make a nice "3 pedal" rig with plenty of options lol

Since we're not including tuners since its not really an effect, does the same go for a noise gate?

Anyways, for my rig I like to always have my Digitech Red Whammy, Mr. Crybaby Super, and my EVH Phase 90.
