i would have loved to try a dk2m neck for the maple board. but i'm doing this project as inexpensively as possible. and the few that i've found have been just a little more than i wanted to spend.

I got some new ones from China for $50 a piece, and some Jackson decals from Italy for $8 a piece.

(And of course, they're all sitting around now because I went in a different direction. Might revisit them next year.)

I would say they are both on the higher priced end of what CL could get you...but they are having to pay Feebay and PayPal on top of shipping...and the green one is a factory second so i think the price is too high for that...

I doubt that green one is a factory second. Looks like they shipped it to a customer and it got damaged. They had to exchange it and are stuck with it.

I was going off of what the ad said...very likely that could be the case, a factory second should be marked "Used" or something on the back of the headstock...would be sad for the seller to be dishonest!

If it was damaged between the factory and dealer, the dealer can return it for a replacement or credit. I'm sure Jackson doesn't want broke crap with their name on it.
