forgive me, but i can imagine zakk wylde's signature JCM800 sounds pretty good when you're not actually zakk.. on paper it sounds like a more aggressive JCM800! count me in!

It is a JCM800 2203 plain and simple with 6550 power tubes. There are no mods to it. That heavy grind comes from the active EMG's (HOT signal) plus the ZW-44 Overdrive plus the amp really loud with the gain maxed and his EV (200 watt each) speakers.

That's a great one indeed ! That one, the SL-X and the Studio 15 are surely worth bringing back. Therefore, I was almost shocked when to find out they re-issued the 900 Dual Reverb !

Yeah. I don't know why they reissued the Dual Reverb. They could've at least put EL34's back in it. I'll take the MkIII any day of the week.

If you ask me, they're not re-issues at all. They're all NOS amps that wouldn't sell and have been sitting in the Marshall warehouse for years and years on end. :scratchch
