I'll own at least one before I'm dead.

Strandberg guitar, I haven't dug too deep but, they're getting pricier already.

I've played several. Honestly, the neck is a little weird for me. I might be more into them if they had more models with 22 frets, but the flat spot on the neck (and 2 'corners') doesn't feel right to me.

That neck makes me leery. Were the ones, that you played, neck heavy?

I've always been interested in them, but haven't had the chance to actually hold one in my hands. Not sure if I'd get along with the neck, but I like many of the ideas that go into it.

Strandberg is never neck heavy. The neck shape is just very very weird.

Right- not neck heavy at all- that is the benefit of any headless. But yeah, the neck shape is really weird, especially if you don't keep strict classical thumb-behind-the-neck position. I suppose I could get used to it...but honestly, I am not spending that much on an instrument that 'I have to get used to'.
