a little update on the smoke show I did a while back for my friends KISS tribute, works way better now

Went with a set of 6 - 9V LEDs and an external micro fogger/smoke machine. What looks like the bridge volume is a rotary on/off switch for the LEDs and the switch below it turns the smoke show on. I have tubing that comes up thru the cavities to the neck pickup pocket where the dummy pickup holds the lights and dual smoke tubes. The switch controls the smoke machine attached to the strap and is connected via a USB cable and a quick disconnect tube for the smoke. The control cavity also houses the 9v battery for the lights.

It's a pretty cool little setup and it works great, band is thrilled

Looks cool, like the 'real' thing.

But does it also shoot bottle rockets out the headstock? Or is that coming in version 2?

Ironic that it’s the opposite of the KISS principle.

Compared to how they used to do it this is very clean, simple and reliable. They used to set off magician's smoke packs in a '76 Deluxe that had a small halogen bulb in it. It was messy, hot, unreliable and damaging to a very cool guitar. We had tried a little different version of that setup in this guitar but this absolutely smokes it lol

https://vosentech.com/ makes the palm sized fogger which is quite easy to use, then it's a thin hose (1/4") and USB cable both of which attach to adapters routed into the guitar between the output jack and bottom strap pin.

i like the bottle rocket idea... little metal straw type thing on the back of the headstock. zoom pop! just watch your aim :D

I only use pre-CBS USB cables for something this special Frankly I am surprised you even had to ask lol

--Bottle rockets wouldn't be allowed for indoor shows but.....hmmm

---Video is coming, can't get one to upload for some reason but they have a show this weekend so hopefully they get some live footage.
