I'm back... AND with a NGD!

I moved 1000 miles last year and life got in the way, so I kind of disappeared. I'm back, with a new career and a NEW GUITAR!!!!!

To treat myself for completing my training and becoming qualified, I have acquired my first real Fender!

A 2012 American Standard. Got it for $700 CDN (about $530 USD) including original hard case and strap.

Plays awesome! Contacted Fender and got all the specs... just needs new strings.

It’s a pity not many people seem to like the color - I love it! [emoji23]

That’s a great guitar for that price.

Congrats on the new gig too - great to see your commitment to self-development pay off.

Awesome Blue Sparkle!

That should be a rule - no "come backs" until a new guitar!!!!

Needs new strings AND a white Moto pick guard. That white is too plain!!!!

Maybe some Texas Specials....

Re: I'm back... AND with a NGD!

I like the stock pickups they were using on those!
Amazing color

Sweet axe, and it sounds like it might be a cool job too. In the "great outdoors", so to speak, and not too far from Glacier Natl Pk.

I like the colour, but think it would look cooler with a black pickguard.
