I'm interested in a P90 guitar

Re: I'm interested in a P90 guitar

FWIW---you can rewire the P100's and you have VERY muscular single coils...

Never thought of that...and quieter than usual as a bonus! P-100's work and they are strong and quiet. Whoohoo.:31: I'm callin' Lew and getting a vintage neck and custom neck for my mid-90's gem LP.

Here's a thought for the LP Junior: Get a custom shop p-90 with a tap to go from balls out custom p-90 down to vintage with a push pull pot! way cool...

But for the money...I think the PRS Soapbar is the best buyin p-90.

Re: I'm interested in a P90 guitar

I'll vouch for the PRS SE Soapbar. I used to have one (singlecut) and it was a great guitar. I regret selling it, but at the time, the singlecuts were temporarily discontinued so I sold mine for a significant profit. The stock P-90s were more than usable, but I threw in a set of Duncan Vintage P-90's and the guitar ripped!

The factory setup was excellent, as was the overall construction. I couldn't find a flaw on it. Def worth checking out and it's in the right price range.

FWIW, I also had a Gibson LP DC Faded P-90, and even though it was a great sounding guitar, I thought the PRS SE Soapbar was an overall better guitar (and costs less:)

And where can I get this? That sounds really sweet. This could be the "Versatility' I need!

Oh, and these Paul Reed Smiths look fantastic. I'm just wondering about if a Bigsby will fit, ya know? The knob looks like it's in the way.
