Look at his expression when he plays that beast, I never get to make JB sounds that good. I always get a honky sound no matter how hard I play with EQ. JB is not meant for me it seems. :no:

You're not alone. There's a lot of players that don't get along with JB's, at least in the stock form with 500K's.

I love the JB so much with 250k pots it's now in most of my guitars.
It splits beautifully on its own and sounds incredible mixed with the mid single.
I've also got a Custom Shop JB and it's no better than a stock one !! ( which is a compliment to the stock model )

By expression I mean he looks so happy when he plays his V. Well, who doesn't when you get a top notch custom shop quality guitars.
