NONE of those amps are gonna give what you are asking for...none of those amps are gonna give you killer tone at bedroom levels, period.
That said you could use any of them at stage levels and get by in low volume settings ok but the tone IS gonna suffer. All that said, you are still talking about 3 very different sounding amps...a plexi with only a master volume added is not gonna get you into high gain crunch, it will have a great sounding break up but far from high gain. The 2210 is a higher gain amp that a plexi and is a very cool amp, the DSL is gonna have the most gain of the 3 you have mentioned. Even though the DSL and the 2210 do have master volumes (even thought they are not PPI) you are not gonna get killer tone ta whisper levers out of even a 50 watt amp much less a 100.
Im not trying to tell you you need a different amp and Im not trying to talk you out of a Marshall I am just trying to tell you that you are expecting impossible things out of the amp...
