Just wanted to introduce myself I'm new to building and refurbs but I've been playing for around 20 years or so just finished my first two rebuilds I'm working on finishing an unfinished Jackson style I picked up and about to start my first almost full build I picked up a half done neck for 15 bucks off gfs but I still have to do the finish shaping it's rough carved and slot the fretboard and all that good stuff so pretty much hi everyone

Hey Brian. Great to have you and welcome. Great guys on here and the most helpful bunch you'll find anywhere. What were your previous rebuilds?

Jimzucco I did a fretless conversion on a squier affinity and stripped and stained the body with an tru oil finish swapped all the hardware and put the everything axe set of pickups in it the other was a saga lp kit that I sanded all the sealer off did a hand rubbed burst with aniline and finished with tru oil swapped all the hardware out for that one too put in 1 meg pots and golden age humbuckers from stew Mac and I went with a tom bridge with roller saddles
