I think that could be sweet. Lipstick tubes don't get talked about much around here. I love my 3-Tube Strat. (Bone stock.) But I should qualify that by saying . . . I like something between the tubes and the amp. Either the Duncan Pup Booster, or my BBE Acoustimax. Their sound is sweet, but they need a teeny bit more girth to come alive. They love the Sonic Maximizer section of the Acoustimax.

I would have never thought of this year's ago. But I'm exploring different sounds and how to generate them.

I'd love to see Duncan make a dual-'tube humbucker. They already do the single version, so doing a 4-conductor dual version wouldn't be a stretch. It would be sweet in an HSS Strat. Or to retrofit a Dano.

(I've been getting into low-output pups lately.)
