Thank God I have a loving wife. However, I should expect her to get some new shoes this weekend. Small price to pay for this one.

It was at GC for less than $500 including the Charvel hard shell SKB case.

I think I'm going to swap out some of the hardware to go all black (including putting swapping out the OEM Floyd Rose for the Schaller made one), but she looks great and plays great. I love that neck.

Now to rock out on some 80s hair metal.

Man, that's a great looking guitar. I've always wanted a non-flashy shred stick, kind of like if EVH never put the stripes on, you get me?

Red, maple, zebras all combine for a slick axe. Yeah it probably would look a bit sharper with black hardware but no biggie.

Yeah, it is one of the MIJ models. When it first arrived, I thought it might not be original. However, it looks like the last owner made some changes. He put the pickup rings on, but after inspection I noticed the rings were on but the were not attached to the pickups. The pickups are still screwed to to the body. Also, I think the knob and strap buttons were changed out for gold instead of chrome.

Main reason I bought the guitar was for the neck and it is fantastic. Those are monsterously large shiny frets and the board is almost lightly scalloped and plays SMOOOOOTHLY. I can't wait to upgrade it. Makes me want to get more. If only I could afford one of the Warren Demartini models . . . .

I personally don't dig black tho. It always wears off and makes your guitar look cheapo. However, i do dig the concept of adding a genuine Floyd rather than a licensed one. But i wouldn't worry about doing it unless you find the OEM one is wearing out.

It's got a nice vintage San Dimas look to it, so I wouldn't change a thing. Zebra and chrome.
