I'm starting a new guitar project.

Its been too long in my head...time to make it real.

Its a long way from there, and it may take a while.

But here is where it starts.

I see:

Lots of non-guitar stuff, you need a hunting workbench AND a guitar workbench!

Also, white speed knobs and a white pickup... I like the raw materials. :smokin:

Is that a Jackson JS neck? Looks simiral to the neck of my JS30DK, although there´s a little difference in the headstock shape. Your neck seems to have little more wood at the top of the headstock.

Me likes some pointy, all I can say about your project. Looking forward to see updates.

I will give you extra bonus points if you put the "blood" in a turkey baster, and spurt it letting it fall naturally on the body like a real blood splatter instead of just flicking paint off a paintbrush.

We are brothers.

INstead of the same old blood splatter you should do a guts and bones finish.

Something like the middle t on the bottom row would be gnarly. It would be a easy job applying it to a v body too.

Very interesting...

I'm pretty sure it's gonna be super white with lots of blood though.
The hard part might be getting headstock to match cuz I hate mismatched headstock's on graphic guitars. Just me.

Are you making the body from scratch? Warrior bodies take 24 fret necks.

What a huge oversight! I'm such an idiot!
I was two days from buying a body!

Crap.... I guess I can build a RR.....

Someone want to chime in and help...I know RR can come 22 or 24...what body do I need? Floyded rr3 or js or what?

Also I guess I could sell this neck and buy the right neck...ugh big step back.

RR3s take 22 fret necks. The ones with black hardware came with Duncans, the ones with chrome hardware came with Duncan Designeds.

The newest JS Rhoads models take a 24 fret neck.

Would avoid the JS series those are dirt cheap and just awful build quality , I have looked at several of them and didn't even buy one for $40.

Well I'm torn now, build another RR3, or sell the neck and get a 24 fretter to build the warrior..... hmmm feel like an oaf for not doing all my homework first.... All good, take it on the chin and move forward.... but which direction.... this may need a poll.

Truth is, I'll be super happy with either one.... I just love working on something that's going to be awesome!
