Impulse buy, Decided I needed the biggest amp in the city.

Re: Impulse buy, Decided I needed the biggest amp in the city.

I'm in New York City this week -but when I fly back home Friday, I'll record some clips

I have an 1973 Ampeg 8x10 (Square Magnets), 95 Hartke 4x10, a 1968 Standel Super Artist 2x15 and a 1989 Yorkville 1x15 to chose from.
I was hoping you'd say 8x10 and 2x15 at least!
Sounds like you know what you're doing. Have a good time in NY

AWESOME!!! Did Marty McFly come with it?

Indeed. bad news is he sued Chuck Berry in court for copyright infringement and won big $$$ and now is too lazy to help me set it up -he mostly just sits around playing with his flux capacitor and complaining that he's got to get back to 1985 -been trying to convince him that radio rock and roll all but dies the following year so he's probably better here.

That thing is sweet. I’d love to hear what it sounds like.

Those are fun. The current Bassman series is very similar but that Sunn logo makes hipsters think it's cool. They don't sound bad for guitar, either.

Next time you are in NYC, let me know! I will show you some of the lowlights. :)

You know, I hadn't put a guitar through it yet -but I bet with the high gain/low gain channel mixing there's a lot of fun to be had!
