Wow...Angus' amp settings sound fantastic on my Peavey Windsor head! I'm getting a great, thick, girthy underbelly that I wasn't getting before. I look forward to hearing how those settings make my DSL sound at our next band practice.

I think people got most suprised by the scooped mids, what I always was toled and read online is that his mids were on 10! Both Malcolm and Angus use scooped mids

scooped mids on a marshall arent all that scooped compared to some other amps. a typical fender bf/sf amp with mids on 10 has less mids than a plexi style marshall with the mids on 0.

It's not scooped mids if the treble, mids & bass are all set to 3. Scooped mids would be if the mids were set far lower than the treble and bass, which they are not.
