In general, are Voodoo Labs pedals good?

I'm looking to get a couple of new pedals. I've pretty much decided on a Sparkle Drive, but was also looking for a fuzz pedal, which V.L.'s also makes. They seem like overall they are a bit better quality than Boss. Does anyone have any opinions on these or Boss pedals for that matter.

I don't know anything about Voodoo Labs pedals but I can tell you Boss makes some fine stuff!

I just modded a Sparkle Drive for "CapoFirstFret"..I'm sure he'll post his findings for all of us....

I Liked this pedal alot,it's built well,and when I got inside,I noticed that it's another tube screamer,but it offers a cool "clean" control...It's also eq'd not have that mid hump that some guys hate..It's a good pedal and it has some extra usable features....Worth the money for sure...I gave Capo's pedal alot more gain and more lows,as that's specifically what he wanted....When he steps on his pedal now,he will no longer lose the lows and his clean tones and tone overall will be fuller and rounder now...

I think that Voodoo Labs' pedals are uniformly excellent. I have a MicroVibe that I'm extremely please with and their Tremelo and Sparkle Drive are on my g.a.s list.

Voodoo lab stuff is really good overall. I must admit I was less than impressed with the sparkle drive, though.
