I've used a lot of P-Rails. It is a wonderful pup for versatility/variety of tones. I have found, over the past 10 years of playing it, that I have used the P-90 coil close to 90% of the time....just because it sounds so good and covers lots of ground. So I install P-90s in most of my builds. As you can see, a couple of them are soapbars, but most, by far, are humbucker sized. Mainly because a customer may order just about any pup on the market and it can be made to fit the larger sized rout. And there are so many bucker-sized P-90s available these days. I particularly like two by GFS...the Mean 90 for its ballsy mids, and the Dream 90 for its clarity and brightness. Plus the Dreams come in some really gorgeous styles.
