in the market for a neck pickup

In the market for a neck pickup for my basswood Schecter. I want a rounded, tubular distorted kind of sound (think Sweet Child o Mine, I know Slash uses Alnico Pro II pickups, but he's got one of those Mahogany things...), I don't want a muddy low end at all. Don't particularly care how it sounds clean, I've got my Jag for that. I hope what I just said isn't contradictory... It'll be played through a Line6 Spider amp, 1 12" speaker.

Any suggestions?

The aph would work great!!! Possibly the Pearly Gates neck would be good also.

Damn! You beat me to it! :alcoholic Either one of these will work very well for this and will have great cleans as well.
