I like hand drills for delicate work and have been wanting an old "egg beater" drill.

I could have restored back to the original red, but I just blued everything and refinished the handle.

Drill holes :p

Seriously though it is for drilling where precise control is needed. I have pin vices (small hand drill) but sometimes they are too small, so rhis fills in nicely.

Looks pretty

Careful though, a lot of older tool alloys will rust to **** before you can bat an eye unless you refinish em properly after getting them that clean (not sure what you did here and if it's enough)
