New and confused.Is there some sort of relationship that is resulting in debate over something that has been resolved?

Most questions have short answers. As soon as there is any hint or potential of a technical, scientific or physics aspect, it seems there's at least one who will turn it into a never ending unanswerable debate, just for debate's sake.
