between 40 and 60 days from now. This is going to look great with a clear gloss all maple neck. It's also getting a black pickguard loaded with Lollar Blackface pickups; Hipshot hardware, TUSQ nut, and so on. BTW, that's real nitrocellulose lacquer on that body. I'm expecting great things from this up and coming luthier out of Lexington, KY: Travis Walker of JW Van Guitarworks.

EDIT to add strap choices:

Haven't got the guitar yet but I can play with it in Photoshop! Which of these 3 straps do y'all think goes best with this body? Look closely at the first one - it's not solid black but has a black on black pattern:

I'd go with strap no 2. The black one will just look black from a distance, and the 60s style one is a bit cluttery for the silverburst. It should suit a regular sunburst better.
Strap no 2 looks sleek with the silverburst, and kind of gives it sort of a 70s muscle car feeling.
