Incoming NPD and NPBD. Mooer content

I've got a couple of Mooer pedals on the way from pedaltrader.com, a Trellicopter and a Hustle Drive (OCD clone). I'm pretty excited for both of them, I need something a touch heavier than my Sweet Honey clone for overdrive, and I hope the Hustle will fit in nicely. As for the Trellicopter, it should be a pretty nice upgrade for my Cool Cat Tremolo. I'm hoping they both arrive tomorrow.

I've also got a PedalTrain PT-1 on the way, upgrading from my PT-Junior. I'm trying to condense my acoustic and electric rigs onto one board, and I think with the PT-1 and an ABY box, I should be able to do that. I'll post pictures when I'm done!

I also picked up a new cable this week, from a local guy called rattlesnake cables. He doesn't have a website yet, so he's cutting local musicians a sweet deal. I got a 15' straight -> right angle green cable for $40. These are serious cables, and they came with a nice aluminum carrying case and burlap carrying bag.

Got to two Mooers today. They sounded awesome in bedroom tests. The Hustle Drive blew me away, it may become my favorite OD, we'll see. The Trellicopter is a little hard to dial in (the Bias knob is tricky), but it's got a lot of really cool sounds so far. I've got three gigs this weekend (one tonight and two tomorrow), so they will be getting a pretty good workout over the next few days.

Nice scores! I've got a PT-1 and I love it - almost all of the size of a PT-2 and with a nice hardshell case, but without the weight of the flight case (and price) of the 2HC.

Those cables look very nice, and quite durable too. I recently bought two very nice Spectraflex braided cables and I really like them. After years of using monster rock cables along with buying a Planet Waves cable and having it tear on me, I decided to just go balls out and spend the $75 on two really nice cables. So far, they sound great, and they're extremely durable.

I'd love to try some of those Mooer pedals out, it's too bad that I've found out exactly what I want (fuzz pedals, of which they don't make the best examples) and I'm set on modulation. Maybe I'll make a PT-Nano with some of them some day.

Mooer has got to be taking a chunk out of other companies at this point! $40 for a 15 ft cable is a decent price, provided they come with a lifetime warranty.

Edit: Oh, and I love my PT-1! I also have a Nano that I use for home/rehearsals.

I have one Mooer pedal already, and I am going to pick up another (echo) soon. Good stuff.

One show down, two more to go. The Trellicopter is a bit weird, I was having a hard time figuring out the Bias knob and how to tweak it to get the sounds I was getting from my other tremolo. The Hustle Drive is awesome though. I wasn't sure how much I was going to like it, but it ended up being awesome. There's a lot of versatility there, and it cleaned up nicely with the volume knob, and got dirtier when I was picking harder.
