I was offered a 1-off build by my local pedal guru. Quite possibly the last pedal he builds with intent to sell under his TL Pedals brand.
He gave me the option to paint the enclosure myself for a discount because apparently painting the enclosure is the most time consuming part for him.
What he's offered is a exact copy of a King of Tone with the mode and clipping switches mounted externally.
I'm not entirely satisfied with the way the enclosure turned out... My perfectly smooth first coat wrinkled under the second coat and I couldn't sand out the defects entirely. Luckily, it's only real obvious when looking closely and the clear coat smoothed things out.
I should have it next weekend.
