Incredible results from my Tele-Strat

I just finished re-wiring my strat so it's capable of being run with neck and bridge in position 4, and with the 50's wiring mod.

It's just amazing tone! My deluxe sings when i put my strat in Tele mode, makes me want to get a twang banger and put it in the bridge for even more twang.

If you don't play your position 4 on strats that often, you MUST try this mod, it seriously makes a strat even more versatile yet still keeping it simple.

All you have to do is put your middle pickup in the neck slot, then swap the neck and middle positive leads on the pickup switcher lugs. :cool3:

Another testimonial thread where a few simple, EASY mods on a strat make a huge difference in tone and versatility. THANKS BUY OWNER! :laugh2:

Nice. I did a similar mod but it allows me to have all 3 pickups on if I want. I just added a toggle switch with the neck pickup wired to it. It's called the "neck on" mod but has also been called "bridge on" by doing the same thing with the bridge pickup. Now I can get neck/bridge or neck/mid/bridge tones in addition to the standard Strat combos.

Hmmm, may have to consider that on my Strat. With the exception of the frets (6100s) and the saddles (Graphtechs), that P.O.S. is still stock. Sounds like an interesting mod.

Re: Incredible results from my Tele-Strat

those two mods really bring the strat to life, and under a blindfold test, it'd be hard to guess if it's a telecaster or a strat when neck and bridge are activated.
