Info on old parallel axis pickup; help needed

Hey all, I have an old parallel axis trembucker that I bought when I was a kid (88' I think). It has been installed in an old BC Rich Bich since then. Yesterday I took it out to put it into a Charvel I got (that actually has a Floyd ha), and began to wonder what year the pickup came into production and how to tell what year mine actually is, as it seems to not have any #'s or dates. I was also wondering if anyone knows how the sound of the pup has changed or evolved over the years(if any). Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Give us a pic of the backplate. The older ones are hard to date, while the newer ones carry the date on the white sticker. It should like this and read 1BJ or like.

This is the pickup I was wonderin about. If it ever had a sticker on the back, I never took it off. A guy at the music store installed it for me many moons ago.
