Moe's Bluesman
Howdy folks!
I'd appreciate some input on a tele project I'm considering.
The body would be koa over mahogany, regular 2-tele single coil pickup routs, and probably a rosewood fretboard on a mahogany neck.
I want this to be a hot ax, not the traditional twang, but warm, smooth, and able to crank a little.
From looking at the spec and description pages, I'm thinking about the little '59 bridge with a Hot neck, maybe tapped. That would give me a couple switching options along with some versatility.
I like the Hot bridge in my strat, and might also consider a Hot bridge, tapped, with maybe a QP or another Hot in the neck.
I'd prefer either single coil or sc sized humbuckers, rather than stacked versions.
What do you all think?
thanks kindly,
Gary
