They were sold in limited numbers when they came out, so hence the high market value for them. They are really hard to come by.

I totally want one. Should've bought one new for about 2k sek (about 315 dollars) when I had the chance a couple of years back.

So, buy the seventy five Dollar guitar on Craigslist, install the odd Zephyr Silver pickup, see how much that fetches? :D

I'd skip the hello kitty but definitely be interested in the Seymour Duncan pickups...... Are there really better pickups than the SD Zeph Silvers? Someone PM'ed me not wanting to be named here, recommending the pickups if I could afford them......and suggested the strat on the neck, the tele in the middle, and the humbucker on the bridge. What a combo...

Some people think there stuff is worth so much. I got pos charvette the other week for $50. The following week i saw a identical one on ebay and they wanted $750

The hello kitty guitar is hand made by children thats why its expensive

The Hello Kitty strats usually pop up once a month or so on Yahoo Japan auctions. They go for around $100-125 new.
