Re: Inside a Marshall Master Lead 30
Howdy,
I have found that any really decent but fairly simple pedalboard, a decent guitar, and a good grasp of what you want to hear, along with a journeyman's chops, you can make almost any rig work for me.
Specifically, I use a pedal to get a little grit-on all the time, with a boost/gain pedal for a bigger better sound for solos. Also I like a TC or some other pedal for a taste of reverb. A little ambience is always a must for me. YMMV.
The only set back is a 10 watt amp onstage with a 100 watt drummer!
