I'm not getting any sound from my mid or neck pickup, just the bridge and that one is clear as a bell...I have tried just uninstalling everything and checking my connections...I'M SO CLOSE, but what may I have forgotten?
The setup is:
Alnico II Pro (Single Coil) in Neck
Duncan 5/2 RW/RP in Mid
SSL1 in Bridge

Thanks all!

been there and that's what's frustrating. This shouldn't be that hard right? What is really getting me is that 1 p/u works and the other two don't...

I wonder if you have the pickups grounded and if the ground is really going to ground? The black wires should be connected to the back of the volume or tone pots, but they need to be grounded too. Lew

make sure that the "hot" wire isn't melted and touching the shield(the conductive mesh/foil under the insulate).

I once tried to swap my pickups for emgs and after they had been stuffed in beautifully, nothing happened when the guitar was played! I even asked the local music store what could be wrong and thought about the possibility that the pickups were broken and This was *after* i had resoldered everything on the guitar and cord plus scoped the front end of the amp... The problem was that i had put the quick connectors backwards:bigthumb:.

Re: Install Problem on Strat

The strat had an S1 switch and I noticed 2 ground wires. I connected both not thinking i needed 2 but to preserve the original setup as much as possible. It's a new pickguard and pots (not the S1 switch).
