The tone is fantastic, as others have described, it has a very organic tone, bright but warm and balances perfectly in this mahogany guitar. Compared to the custom i had before, there aren't as much lows, and it is not as "in your face" sounding as the custom. The custom is really fun for aggressive styles. With the Seth's there is a really nice classic rock thing going on.
I really like the dynamics, of the seth's pick attack and the ability the pickup has when cleaning up with the volume knob. The clean tone is fantastic, no longer sterile, and it is just begging to be overdriven. Also one other thing is harmonics just jump out of the guitar now, and there is a really cool controllable feedback thing going on thanks to the un wax potted pickup covers.
