Instrument and line level signals

Hi all,

I wanted to get a tweakable delay or reverb like the boss 500 series to make some gnarly sounds. I also like the look of the source audio nemesis.

However, it is not my intent to use the pedal in a conventional guitar rig. I want to use it In my recording setup. Do any companies other than TC Electronics make pedals that accept both line level and instrument level connections?

I am sure there are plugins that would work well for this, or some 90s rack effects which can be switched from line or instrument.

You can generally run line level into guitar inputs without any problems. Especially if your line device has output control. It's the other way around that doesn't work well.
