Make sure you listen to the whole thing (:)) and let me know what you think.

The tones you're hearing:

Fender Strat w/ Invader --> Fender Stage 112SE --> Fender DT412 cab
Washburn Hollowbody (don't know model) --> Peavey 5150 2x12 combo
Warwick Corvette --> Peavey Mark IV Head --> Fender 4x10 cab

I liked it, sounded like something from a battlescene on a movie of sorts, very picture'esque!
How long have you people played together??

Re: Instrumental clip from my band... ch-check it out

Now playing ...

Right off the bat, I like the sound. Distorted guitar should be louder; clean guitar lower ... Use a higher bit rate for the mp3; the top end is crushed to the point where I cant distinquish anything above 3k ...

1/2 way through the track ...

Finger tapping or pull offs @ 3:00?

Heard the rest. I like it! Tell me all about the actual recording chain.

Rid, we've been playing together for about 3 years.

Twilight, that was tapping, actually from our rhythm guitarist (!) with the 5150.

More comments, please!

i ditto everything TO says about the levels

Re: Instrumental clip from my band... ch-check it out

actually i think this would make a good theme song for a action series or maybe game

Dang Saggy, I thought that was killer. :32:

Obviously, the recording could be better, but still not bad for home-grown.
(I assume this wasn't done in a studio.)

Anyway, great tune, good job.

Woah that snare at the start frightened the du du out of me.. Id agreee that it sounds like something tat you'd here as a theme title to an action film , at 2:50 i like the clean little bridge, sounds cool and the tapping suits really well..
The song sounds thought out, as opposed to most of the other duncan clips you hear as there really mostly imrov..

Nice tones there and a nice little ending to it too...

Nice tune Saggy man. The intro is old school then it sounds a little more modern. Nice mixture of melodic rhythms. It sounds like you spent some time on this little gem :D It has a nice "composition" feel. The little bridge transition at 1:32 is very catchy.
The drums are very cool but I'd like to hear some more of the hi hat and ride in the mix.
Nice job, all players :)

Pretty cool! You guys sound like you know how to write a good tune.
Drums are a bit loud in the mix but the guitars sound pretty good.
