Hi everybody - long time member (about a year or so?), but first-time participator here.
A little about me: I was born in 1981, and started playing guitar around age 14. That comes to about 9 years or so, so I should probably be a lot better than I am.
My first guitar was a lovely black Squier strat that played pretty badly and sounded worse. Since then I've had the pleasure of owning a number of nice guitars, though now I'm down to two and am building a third.
My only real experience with Duncan p-ups was a Little '59 in the bridge of a shabby MIJ strat. It didn't sound too great, but I'm willing to blame the guitar and not the pickup. I've already ordered a Duncan Custom and a Classic Stack for my Warmoth project, so we'll see where that takes me.
My real musical endeaver at the moment is playing guitar and writing the music for my band, 13 Dead End Drive. We're sort of a blend of second-wave punk, hardcore, and swedish death metal. Again, we'll see where that takes me. I've got music available at the link in my sig for anyone interested.
