Invader help please

I have an invader in an Epiphone LP Jr, and it dosen't work. I soldered all of the wires according to the single-pickup chart, but to no avail.
Would replacing the 250K Ohm potentiometers with 500K or 1M help?

No, in the end it may sound better but that's not your issue. Go back and check all your connections. Do you have a multimeter to check with?
