I actually never heard an Invader single coil. I'd be interested to hear how people use it. It also seems like (if it would be possible), the Invader would be a candidate for some sort of single coil-sized humbucker...it would be a super Hot Rails, I'd guess.

I had intended mine for the bridge position of an aimless Strat before I sold it to minimize the number of projects on my plate.
I can confirm that MJ winds a lighter version in the 8.4K-8.5K range for the neck/middle, while the 9.2K-9.5K version is generally meant for the bridge position.

I think I will! I was only thinking of changing the bridge pup at first to something like a Little '59 or Little Screamin Demon, but the Quarter Pound has always intrigued me, and this Invader single has now attracted me. I'm so confused as to which I want in the bridge now, then thinking maybe I should keep the G&L CLF-100 middle since it's RW/RP and I keep it lower already so my pick doesn't hit it (and I hardly use the middle position anyway).
