Hi,
i recently bought a pair of Duncan Designed HB108 "Destroyer" Humbuckers, the far-east-model of their invaders. I am very happy with their sound, but unfortunately, especially the bridge-PU tends to give loads of feedback during rehearsal. I'm playing my Crate Blue Voodoo 120 with all settings at about 12 o' clock in the drive channel (including Gain and Master Volume), and would have too muddy tone left if i would compensate the feedbacks with the amps EQ.
So I was wondering what more I could do to reduce these feedbacks, would you recommend me to try to repot them as described here?
And in that case, could the "Duncan Designed"-Label on the almost brandnew PUs be damaged by the hot wax?
Thank you in advance.
