My stock pick ups in my Sterling JP150 has the white and black connected to together and taped off, green and red are connected to like colored wires. I wired these the same and it sounds really weird. Do I not use the same color configuration? I didnt get a sheet with these as they came from ebay. Thanks

Welcome to the forum!

There are no standards when it comes to color codes across companies. On Duncans, red & white are the series link, and soldered together and taped off. Green and bare go to ground, and black is hot. If this is out of phase with your current pickup, reverse the green and black on the Duncan.
