Iron Maiden?

What effects does iron maiden use i love there distortions sound it is really nice but i cant find it, so can you guys help me out?

They use a Boss MT-2 Metal zone pedal plugged into two pairs of Mesa Boogie Triple RectumFriers. I believe they use EMG pickups as well.

Dave and Adrian are long time Marshall users and big fans of Stratocasters loaded with Duncan Hot Rails and JB Jr's.

ooh, now you're talking my field LOL

a pretty marshall cranked to 13 will do the trick
they use JMP-1 preamps, JFX-1 effect units as of late they use marshall 9200 power amps, rocktron effects pedals, korg footswitches, some tc electronic delay units and other knick knacks. jan uses an original tube screamer for some solos

dave uses custom strats (and one custom sunburst charvel) loaded with 3 hot rails, and an original floyd
adrian has HSS setup strats which have a dimarzio PAF on the bridge and standard strat single coils and an OFR
janick uses JBJr's and at least one lil59 in his standard strats

What's wrong with those guys? Why only strats and Marshall?
Is it just to stay true to their conservative and modest British rock roots?
