That we agree on, always been my one of my tone goals. Which is why I really like A2P's and Seth's. They did that naturally without mag swaps. For me, PG's were the opposite: warm full neck/bright thin bridge. But it depends on the guitar, amp, pedals, and the kind of music you're playing. Obviously PG's work well for some guys; I just couldn't get the darn things dialed in. But there's no one PU that's going to be everyone's favorite.
