first thing you'r gonna need to do is take the pickguard off and see if it is routed for a single or does it have a "swimming pool" route...?

Does it have a scratch plate are the pickups mounted in rings to the top of the guitar?

If the former, it depends on the routing of the guitar. If it has a "swimming pool" route (one big chunk of wood taken out for all three pups), get a new pickguard, mount the desired pickups in it and slap it on the guitar.

If it's a rear-loaded guitar (pickup rings), it would be major surgery to add a humbucker.

it looks like a swimming pool underneath the pickguard ... the pickups seem to bemounted to the pickguard aswell. So, alls i need is a new plate ?

Yes, a new pickguard with the routing you desire. You will mount the new pup along with the original single coils into that and you will be good to go.

cool ... anyone have any suggestions for type of humbucker to put in there to give it a fat, thick, tight bass, articulate tone for heavy modern rock ? I dont know exactly what wood its made of...i serached the internet but couldnt find information on the guitar. Its just an oscar schmidt start rip off, so i guess the woods would be similar to other strat knock offs.

You might wanna go with the Custom Custom for that kind of setup ...
