I am considering rewiring one of my older guitars with two spin-a-splits. I have one unused tone pot on that guitar, but would like to split both bridge and neck humbuckers. This is the closest Duncan wiring schematic I have found. I am assuming that the spin-a-split pot would be wired in place of the push-pull switch on the back of the pot in this schematic. I am wondering if signal would bleed from the unselected pickup's second coil though.
If the pot in the spin-a-split can be treated like the switch in the top schematic, then a spin-a-split should work if the red/white connections from each of the two humbuckers is connected. Am I reading that correctly?
