to put drum machine outputs to the cd input of my amplifier especially if they have bass presets? Are drum machines considered as line level instruments?

i Run one into a bass amp and no problems. Just watch the levels and the eq. I tried it in a 15 crate as well and it did not blow the speaker or anything. I ran it to the input so I the CD input would be fine

My old drummer used to plug his cd player into his dad's vintage ampeg tube amp. Blew it up. Without looking at it they then threw it out.
