Is it worth to change my amp speaker?

How could be the diference to change the speacker of my fender hot rod deluxe I think it has a re-isssue fender speaker. If I change it to a celestion vintage the quality of the sound changes dramatically or is a very so so upgrade? what kind of changes could I spect? do you recommend another speaker for this amp? I love clean tones but want to sound great in distortion so my unique option is using pedals.

I dropped a Jensen C12N in my Hot Rod Deluxe and I love it. Has a great classic '60s sound i.e. Cream. I highly recommend the Jensen and it's really affordable at $59.99 at the Torres Engineering web site:

Speakers have a huge effect on your tone. I think they're second only to the amp itself.

I like the Vintage 30 by Celestion in newer Fenders. Makes the drive channels seem almost worth the trouble! :blackeye:

o.k. then I think that the hot rod deluxe speaker is cheap. I´m o.k.?
