Steve, I know firsthand that G&L you have may be in the top 5 of the best Floyd equipped guitars ever made. When I got mine, it became one of my favorite guitars real quickly. The quality is astounding! I only got rid of mine because I felt I was done with Floyds, and wished that the 5 way switch wasn't in between the volume and tone. I think if I had your exact HH model, I would have kept it. Mine was also mahogany/maple, and I agree, it's much nicer than the Ash version.

This was my Invader.....satin finished flame maple/mahogany

This is the Legacy Deluxe that replaced it. 12" radius chunky C neck.

I was seriously eyeing a couple of Legacy Deluxes like yours when I came across the Invader. I found wood definitely makes a tone difference! This thing is very warm sounding and plays fantastic.

Now that your LP has the anniversary set it truly is number one!

That's a Halloween costume I made a couple of years ago. Anyway, my nephew is a huge Sponge Bob fan so I decided to dust that thing off and jam in character for him. My buddies tried to get me to show up at the Sponge Bob movie premier with that thing on but I was afraid I'd get pelted with eggs or something. I also noticed people get the sudden urge to tackle me when I'm wearing it!!!!

Anyone know where I can find the tab to the Sponge Bob theme song... I think it'd be cool to punk it out!!!

I found several sites when I Googled "Sponge Bob tabs", but the freakin sites listed served pop-ups and "free browser plugins" (syware *$%! holes) out the wazoo.
